Sister is another that was born right here on the farm to Chester in 2023. She’s a littermate to Nelly & daughter to Chester. Her & Nelly were quite the duo last year! While they only ever showed once against each other at a jackpot early in the season, when we got them back home at the end of the season, we couldn’t decide if we liked Sister or Nelly best. Sister has a back on her like nothing we’ve ever seen.
Sister was shown by Landen Ince & they had the best season to finish up his show career his senior year. The icing on the cake was him getting to come back to the farm for Sister to farrow her first litter.
Sister’s biggest & most memorable wins were the 2024 Hamilton County Junior Livestock Show Reserve Champion LOPB Breeding Gilt & 2023 CTYF Showdown on the Bosque Reserve Champion WOPB (behind Nelly) – earning some scholarship money & some hardware. She went on to pen & place at both 2024 San Angelo Stars Gilt & Junior Breeding Gilt shows.
Sister is a BILLY BOB x BIG SCREEN and the service sire for the July 2024 litter is CRETE from 333 The Initiative Boar Studs.
Littermates to Sister had success placing at their respective county livestock shows, won Champion WOPB at the 2024 Erath County Junior Livestock show & as well as jackpots, numerous 1st in class winnings at jackpot shows, penned & placed at the 2024 San Angelo Stars Gilt Show, the 2024 San Angelo Barrow Show, the 2024 FWSSR Breeding Gilt Show, and one entered at Belton for the 2024 South West Type Conference placed & made the sale.
