July 2024 Born Litter out of Nelly

Ol’ Nelly was born right here on the farm in Summer 2023 to none other than “Chester“. Nelly was one we had our eye on from the get-go, but was overlooked at our farm sale last year & we ended up keeping to show. Together, Nelly & Preslea had a fantastic show season – landing multiple Breed Champion & Reserve Breed Champion titles. Nelly’s littermates had a good run too! We intentionally kept Nelly to bring her bone & grace into our breeding program.

Nelly was the 2024 Erath County Junior Livestock Show WOPB Breed Champion, and other notable “wins” are as follows: 3rd in WOPB class at the 2024 Texas Nationals Breeding Show (scholarship recipient), 4th in class at 2024 San Angelo Stars Gilts Show, 2023 Robinson FFA Jackpot WOPB Champion, 2023 CTYF Showdown on the Bosque WOPB Champion, 2023 Dinosaur Valley Jackpot Reserve WOPB, 2023 Brazos Valley Prospect Show 1st in class for Ring A & Ring B. Lots of cash, ribbons, banners & buckles with this one!

Nelly is a BILLY BOB X BIG SCREEN and the service sire to her July 2024 litter is HIRED GUN at Purple Power Boar Studs.

Littermate Acheivements:

Littermates to Nelly had success placing at their respective county livestock shows, winning Reserve Champion LOPB at the 2024 Hamilton County Junior Livestock show & jackpots, numerous 1st in class winnings at jackpot shows, penning & placing at 2024 San Angelo Stars Gilt & Junior Breeding Shows, the 2024 San Angelo Barrow Show, the 2024 FWSSR Breeding Gilt Show, and one placed & sold at the 2024 South West Type Conference in Belton, Texas.
